AkijBashir Group brings ‘AkijBashir Cables’

AkijBashir Group has officially entered the electrical wire and cable industry with the launch of its new brand, AkijBashir Cables, introducing Bangladesh’s first 3-layer insulated cable manufactured using advanced technology.

The newly launched cables feature pure copper build 3-layer insulation designed to provide enhanced protection and heat resistance up to 105 degrees Celsius.

This innovation sets a new standard for electrical safety in the country, addressing growing safety requirements in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations.

The brand was formally launched on Thursday at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) in Dhaka, in the presence of industry professionals, business partners, trade leaders, and other key stakeholders.

The event marked a significant new addition to Bangladesh’s rapidly expanding electrical wire and cable sector.
AkijBashir Cables has begun operations with 32 showrooms across the country, ensuring immediate nationwide availability.

Launched with the tagline “Confidence Within,” the brand reflects the group’s focus on safety, reliability, and long-term performance.
