BNP sets ‘Match My Policy’ web app to engage public

Staff Reporter :

The BNP has rolled out a new digital initiative aimed at encouraging inclusive and policy-oriented political participation in post-July Bangladesh.

As part of the move, the party has introduced a web-based application titled “Match My Policy” (www.matchmypolicy.net), which it describes as the country’s first interactive, policy-driven political platform.
In a statement shared on its official Facebook page on Thursday, BNP said the swipe-based app features a simple and familiar interface that enables users to compare their views with the party’s proposed policies.
Each screen highlights a brief summary of selected BNP policies or plans, allowing users to register their stance by swiping. The app also includes an “opinion” option through which users can submit written feedback and suggestions on specific policy issues.

According to the party, the initiative is primarily designed to engage Gen Z, young voters, and the wider public, with the goal of involving them more directly in the policy-making process. Feedback gathered through the platform will be used to shape future policies that are more people-focused, practical, and effective.

The final section of the app provides additional materials to help users better understand BNP’s policy positions and its long-term vision.

BNP said the “Match My Policy” platform is not just a technological innovation, but an effort to promote a new political culture centred on policy-based politics, participatory democracy, and direct citizen engagement.
