N’ganj DC distributes winter clothes

District Commissioner (DC) Md. Raihan Kabir has distributed winter clothes, computers, and sports materials to the children living at the Muslim Nagar Baitul Aman Government Children’s Home in Fatullah, Narayanganj, as well as to visually impaired students involved in education programs. At the same time, he inaugurated a mini park for the children’s recreation.

The event and park inauguration were held on Monday (January 5) at the institution’s auditorium, organized by the Sadar Upazila administration.

Narayanganj Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) S.M. Faiez Uddin presided over the program, with DC Md. Raihan Kabir attending as the chief guest. Special guests included Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office Md. Asaduzzaman, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Narayanganj Sadar Sadia Akter, Sadar Upazila Project Director Pabitra Chandra Mandal, Ward-3 UP Member of Sardar Enayet Nagar Abdul Jalil, and the institution’s Deputy Superintendent Mohammad Riaz Uddin.

Addressing the children, the DC said, All of you staying here will grow up to become great individuals through education. Life is not just about survival; it must have a purpose. You have to move forward with that purpose. Challenges will come, but you must find solutions through them.

He further encouraged the children to maintain cooperation and harmony with one another, adding that any problems should be discussed with local representatives to find solutions.
