Drugs not detected in edible oil drums

The much -talked Cocaine in the imported edible oil at Chittagong Port was not detected in the sample of the oil drums. Narcotics control department in their test in the port’s laboratory did not traced any cocaine in the sample of edible taken from 107 drums. Customs intelligence sources said these imported edible oil will undergo chemical test in modern chemical labs in Dhaka . Law enforcing agencies suspecting that Cocaine was brought mixing with edible oil in any drums out of the total drums. Director general of Customs Intelligence told the media that s ample of the edible oil will be sent to Dhaka for chemical examination in a most modern labs. Earlier report adds: Customs Intelligence in Chittagong suspected cocaine laden container in Chittagong port and seized the container under customs custody. An importer of the port city imported liquid cocaine in a container amounting to about tk.100 crores with false declaration of oil import. On Saturday night customs and investigation officials sealed the container which will be opened today for physical inventory of the consignment . Acting on secret information, customs intelligence detected the suspected container and sealed it.
