Mohammedan draw with Brothers Union

Reigning champions Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited played a goalless draw with Brothers Union Club in their ninth match of the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Friday.

Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited took the sixth position collecting 10 points from nine matches, while Brothers Union Club took the seventh spot earning nine points from as many outings.

Mohammedan played their ninth match without the Uzbek recruit Muzaffarov. He left the black-and white outfit for personal reasons. Earlier, Malian striker Souleymane Diabate left Mohammedan Sporting Club as the black and white outfit have been suffering from financial crisis. Diabate is now playing for Dhaka Abahani Limited in the ongoing Bangladesh Football League.

Today Bashundhara Kings will take on Fakirerpool Youngmens Club at the Shaheed Miraj-Tapan Stadium Stadium in Manikganj at 2:30pm,Bangladesh Police Football Club will meet Rahmatganj MFS at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur at 2:30pm, Dhaka Abahani Limited will face off Arambagh Krira Sangha at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla at 2:30pm and Fortis Football Club will take on PWD Sports Club at Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital at 2:30pm.
