Winter aid by Bangladesh Cables

As part of its corporate social responsibility and humanitarian commitment, Bangladesh Cables Industries Ltd has distributed winter clothes among underprivileged and cold-stricken people in Khulna and adjacent areas.
Following directives from the company’s board of directors, the winter clothing distribution programme was carried out on December 30, starting from 10:00pm. Warm clothes were distributed among the needy at Khulna Railway Station, New Market area, Khalishpur New Road, Daulatpur Railway Station, Phultala Railway Station, and Noapara Railway Station in Jashore.

Continuing the initiative, blankets were distributed among local underprivileged people at the head office of Bangladesh Cables Industries Ltd in Khulna on December 31 at 11:00am, bringing some relief to those suffering from the biting cold.

The programme was attended by Managing Director MdShahidul Islam, along with all general managers, senior officials, and the president and general secretary of the CBA. Speakers at the event emphasised the importance of such humanitarian activities in easing the suffering of cold-hit people and expressed the company’s commitment to continuing similar welfare initiatives in the future.

The initiative received widespread appreciation from local residents, while beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Bangladesh Cables Industries Ltd. The programme is being seen as a strong example of the company’s dedication to social responsibility and community welfare.
