Govt redistributes ministries among advisers

The government has reorganised the leadership of three ministries following the resignations of Advisers Md Mahfuj Alam and Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain.

A notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Thursday evening outlined the new allocations.
Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan has been entrusted with the Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Ministry, alongside his current responsibilities.

Asif Nazrul has been named Adviser to the Youth and Sports Ministry, a role previously held by Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain.

Additionally, Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwan Hasan has been assigned the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, which was earlier overseen by Nahid Islam and Md Mahfuj Alam.
The resignations of Mahfuj Alam and Shojib Bhuyain were submitted to Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday at the State Guest House Jamuna.
