Women rally held in Sirajganj

On Thursday, a huge women’s rally was held at Sohagpur Government Shyamkishore Pilot Model High School ground in Belkuchi under the chairmanship of women leader Flora Iqbal.

In the women’s rally, thousands of women from the Trinamool area of Belkuchi municipality and 6 unions attended the meeting with their children in their laps with rickshaw van auto CNG and raised the slogan of this year’s Marka Dhaner Sheesh Marka, Amar Tomar Marka Dhaner Sheesh Marka.

Within moments of this rally, the public meeting turned into a sea of people with thousands of women present. Shyam Kishore school grounds had no place for women to gather.

Sama Obaid, daughter of late General Secretary of BNP KM Obaidur Rahman, Organizing Secretary BNP Faridpur Division, was present as the chief guest in the rally.

Amirul Islam Khan Alim, the nominated candidate of Dhan Shish of Sirajganj 5 seat of Belkuchi Chauhali, was present as the main speaker. Haji Jamal Uddin Bhuiyan, Nurul Islam Golam, Abdur Razzak Mondal, Altaf Hossain Pramanik, Rezaul Karim, Shafiqul Islam Shafi, Manowar Chowdhury Babu and others spoke at the meeting.

At the end of the rally, a large women’s party procession from the Shyam Kishore High School ground circled the upazila headquarters and ended at the Alhaj Siddique groundBelkuchi Upazila and Paur Mahila Dal organized this huge women’s rally.
