Prime Bank trains women entrepreneurs in Chattogram

Prime Bank PLC recently organized the “Prime Neera-SME Women Entrepreneurs Training and Development Program” in Chattogram, aiming to support financial inclusion and business growth for women entrepreneurs. The event was held at Hotel Agrabad and brought together over 130 participants, including members of Prime Bank and the Chattogram Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CWCCI),according to press release.
The training focused on enhancing business management skills, financial planning, and market expansion strategies, while encouraging women to take a more active role in the SME sector. The program also highlighted the use of digital banking tools to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
The event was presided over by Sarker Mehedi Reza, Chattogram Regional Head of Prime Bank PLC. Other attendees included Sheikh Nur Alam, Head of Small Business & Refinance, Fatema Akter Naz, Business Development Manager, and branch managers from the region. Abida Mustafa, President of CWCCI, attended as the Special Guest.
Speakers at the program emphasized women’s empowerment, business development, and leveraging technology to strengthen enterprises, reinforcing Prime Bank’s commitment to supporting women-led SMEs across the country.
