MG S9 debuts as the largest 7-seater PHEV SUV

MG Bangladesh has launched the all-new MG S9 PHEV, introducing what the company describes as the country’s largest seven-seater plug-in hybrid SUV.

Powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, electric motor and 24.7 kWh battery, the S9 offers more than 100 km of pure electric driving and a combined driving capability of over 1,000 km with a full charge and fuel tank.

The SUV measures 4,983 mm in length with a 2,915 mm wheelbase and offers three-row seating. Folding the second and third rows expands luggage capacity to 2,093 litres.

Key features include a panoramic opening sunroof, massaging front seats, tri-zone climate control, dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging and a 12-speaker BOSE audio system.

Safety and driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert and a 360-degree HD parking camera.

According to MG Bangladesh, the S9 has also been named Best Plug-in Hybrid 7-Seat SUV at the #WhatCarAwards.

The introductory price is BDT 63.9 lakh for the first 100 units, while the regular price is BDT 64.9 lakh. Each vehicle comes with two complimentary 11 kW home charging stations and an eight-year warranty.

The MG S9 PHEV is now available at MG showrooms across Bangladesh, with customers able to book test drives.
