BIMOX 2025 inauguration ceremony held

The inauguration ceremony of “Bangladesh International Marine & Offshore Expo – BIMOX 2025”, the largest international exhibition on the maritime and offshore industry in Bangladesh, was held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the city’s Kuril area on Thursday. The event has been organised by Savor International Limited.

Focused on shipbuilding, ship recycling, ship repairs, marine engineering, offshore technology, dredging equipment, and port & logistics services, the exhibition brings together leading maritime companies from home and abroad, along with investors, technologists, and business representatives.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa, OSP, NPP, rcds, afwc, psc, PhD, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (O), Bangladesh Navy.

Special Guests included Rear Admiral Md. ZiaulHoque, OSP, ndc, afwc, psc, Director General, Bangladesh Coast Guard, MrMasud Ali Khan, Vice President, Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr.EdgarsDzenis, Director, RigasDizelis DG, Capt. Md. Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan, AFNI, Chairman, GroupNautika, Ex-Chairman, The Nautical Institute of Bangladesh, and Mr. Md. Faizul Alam, Managing Director, Savor International Limited.

The exhibition features the latest maritime innovations and technologies, along with international B2B and B2G meetings, seminars, and panel discussions, with active participation from top industry leaders from Bangladesh and the global maritime sector.

The exhibition is open to all visitors from October 30 to November 1, 2025, daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
