Those who do not want the February elections are forces against the rights of the people: M A Malik

A conspiracy is now going on in Bangladesh – democracy, freedom and people’s right to vote must be restored. Those who do not want free elections in February are forces against the rights of the people. We want a peaceful and developed Bangladesh. In the last 15 years, the development of roads, schools, colleges, mosques and temples in the country has been stagnant. If the BNP forms the government, Bangladesh will establish the rights and development of these people. We will build a new state structure by implementing Mr. Tarique Rahman’s 31-point program.
Alhaj MA Malik, advisor to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and President of UK BNP, said this while addressing a public relations and rally as the chief guest at East Gouripur Union No. 6 of Balaganj Upazila on Thursday to implement the 31-point program to repair the state structure announced by BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman.
MA Malik said that he has discussed with the administration about some important roads, schools and development projects in the South Surma-Balaganj-Fenchuganj region. Some projects have already been approved and some are awaiting approval.
He said, “We love this country regardless of religion and caste. If everyone moves forward together in unity, a Bangladesh of development will be built.”
He greeted and wished the people present at the rally on behalf of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and prayed for their well-being and the welfare of the country.
Also present were Balaganj Upazila BNP General Secretary and Chairman of East Gouripur Union No. 6 Mojibur Rahman, Balaganj Sadar Union BNP President Sheikh Jamal Ahmed Khalku, Sylhet District BNP Deputy Secretary for Small and Credit Affairs Bakhtiar Ahmed Imran, Central Volunteer Party Deputy Organizing Secretary Kamal Hasan Jewel, Balaganj Upazila JASAS Acting President Sherul Ahmed, South Surma Upazila BNP Executive Committee Member Shah Alam, Sylhet District Jubo Dal Deputy General Secretary Minar Hossain Liton and other leaders of BNP, its organs and associate organizations.
