BSRM fined with Tk.1 lakh

A mobile court of Chittagong City Corporation led by Executive Magistrate Nazia Shirin fined Tk. one lakh to largest MS Rod producing factory of the country named BSRM located in Chittagong for violating the rules of the city corporation .
Sources said BSRM encroached footpath and drain passage for their own use through using slabs. Under section 93 of city corporation act, mobile court convicted penalty to BSRM for encroaching the corporation’s properties, sources said.
