BRU students’ union guideline passed
BRU Correspondent :
The policy for the central student union election of Begum Rokeya University (Berobi) in Rangpur has been passed with the approval of the President.
On Monday, the university’s student advisor, Professor Dr. Md. Ilias Pramanik, confirmed this information.
He said, the President has approved the policy of the student union. We had assured the students that our policy would be passed by October 31.
Alhamdulillah, it was passed before the scheduled time. We now want to give the gift of a fair election.
In this regard, the university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Shawkat Ali, said, I came from Dhaka after working.
I am telling the students that the law will be passed by October 31. I was able to keep their word. The election will be held soon.
It is worth noting that on August 17, 8 students sat on a hunger strike to death at the north gate of the university’s administrative building.
While breaking their hunger strike, the Vice Chancellor promised that the Students’ Parliament would be included in the Act by October 31.
