In response to a question from journalists whether BNP will sign the July Charter tomorrow, Friday, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said we will definitely sign the July Charter, if our proposals or concerns and notes of dissent are recorded in the July Charter. He said that BNP has always played a positive role. It has played a positive role even now.
Mirza Fakhrul said, I had forbidden Hasina to commit so much torture. Let people go, give back their voting rights, but they did not do so. ‘You can’t even find a single scoundrel, can you get Hasina to do it?’ (Where have you gone now, Hasina cannot be found, is she being found now?).
Mentioning that the Awami League has finished the country, he said, “Why should we do this when we cannot stand before the people?” Not only the leaders and workers of the A’ League, but even the Khatib of Baitul Mosque have fled. They are involved in so many misdeeds that they have fled with the Khatib of the mosque. On Thursday (October 16) evening, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said these things at a road meeting organized by the Upazila BNP and Municipal BNP at Shibdighi mor at Ranishankail upazila of Thakurgaon.
He also said that BNP is a tested party. Which was born through reforms and movement struggle. We have never bowed our heads – we believe in democracy, there is no alternative to democracy. BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman is preparing to come to the country. When he comes to the country, he will become an ocean of people of the country.
 He said that this time the Hindu brothers have understood that there is no alternative to BNP. He said that Hindu and Muslim brothers, this time we will all vote for the paddy. We are hopeful that the people will make us successful through voting.
