Rishad to play in BBL

Sports Reporter :

Promising leg-spinner of Bangladesh Rishad Hossain will play in the Big Bash League (BBL). He will not play Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket in this year. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) on Monday for Rishad Hossain to play in the popular T20 tournament of Australia. Rishad Hossain will play for Hobart Hurricanes.

Last year he was included in the squad of Hobart Hurricanes but he could not play for that team as the BCB did not give him green signal to play in BBL. Now he is ready to play for Hobart Hurricanes in BBL. The upcoming BBL and the fourth coming BPL will stage in the same time. So, it was uncertain for Rishad Hossain to play for Hobart Hurricanes in BBL this year.

But as the BCB issued an NOC for Rishad Hossain, so there is no barrier for the leggie to take part in BBL.
It may be mentioned that Shakib Al Hasan played in the Big Bash League in 2015. After that, no Bangladeshi cricketer got chance to play in BBL, one of the prestigious T20 cricket tournament in the whole world.

Rishad will represent for Bangladesh in the ensuing BBL. Defending champions Hobart Hurricanes played without Rishad Hossain last year.

Head of Strategy of Hobart Hurricanes Ricky Ponting suggested the Team Management of Hobart Hurricanes to recruit Rishad Hossain.

The Big Bash League will start on December 15 and will come to an end on January 21.
