HC Justice Md Akhtaruzzaman resigns

Justice Md Akhtaruzzaman of the High Court (HC) Division has filed his resignation letter today amid inquiry against him by the Supreme Judicial Council.

A notification posted on the website of the Supreme Court said Justice Md Akhtaruzzaman, who was under inquiry by the Supreme Judicial Council, has submitted his signed resignation letter to the President through the Chief Justice.

The Supreme Judicial Council earlier on August 26 concluded the final hearing concerning Justice Md Akhtaruzzaman.
