CA attends Advisory Council meeting at Secretariat

Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus attended a meeting of the Advisory Council at the Secretariat on Thursday morning — his second visit to the premises since assuming office.

The meeting began at 10:30am in the Cabinet Division’s Conference Room on the fifth floor of the new Secretariat building, with other advisors also in attendance. Yunus is chairing the session.

Since taking charge on August 8 last year, Yunus has mostly held meetings at the State Guest House Jamuna and the Chief Advisor’s Office in Tejgaon. His first meeting at the Secretariat was held in November at Building No. 6.

He entered the Secretariat through Gate No. 5, near the Jatiya Press Club, at 9:30am. Several layers of security were deployed for the visit, and all vehicle entries were restricted to Gate No. 1 for the first half of the day.
