‘Broadcasting system to be modernised’

Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Mahfuj Alam said the broadcasting system will be modernized by attaching priority to public interest.

He made the remark at a meeting on formulation of policies regarding cable TV digitalization, Television Rating Point (TRP) service provision, and Over-the-Top (OTT) platforms held at the ministry conference room here, said a press release.

The Adviser said Ministry of Information and broadcasting, along with the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, are involved in matters related to cable TV digitalization, TRP services, and OTT platforms.
