NN Online:
Bangladesh and the United States are continuing discussions to finalise the proposed Agreement on Reciprocal Tariff.
The latest round of negotiations was held on Thursday, with National Security Advisor Dr. Khalilur Rahman leading the Bangladesh delegation and US Assistant Trade Representative Brendan Lynch heading the American side.
“We’ve made significant progress in our latest consultations with the US team,” said Dr. Rahman, a former trade policy chief at UNCTAD. “Both parties are committed to concluding the agreement swiftly.”
