Standard Bank gets new Chairman

Ferdous Ali Khan has been elected as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Standard Bank PLC in its 411thmeeting held recently. A Reputed businessman Khan origins from a very respectable Muslim family of Dinajpur. His father, Late Siddique Ali Khan was a renowned businessman of Dinajpur.

A pioneer in the tailoring industry, Khan founded the country’s renowned tailoring brand ‘Ferdous Tailors & Fabrics’ in 1980; which currently has several branches in various prime locations of the country. He has set up a world-class central factory to ensure high standards and efficient operations tocater the needs of the clients, says a press release.

Besides, he has made a remarkable contribution to the education sector in his hometown, Dinajpur by founding ‘FerdousAli Khan Model School & College’. A true gentleman, Khan is actively associated with many socio-cultural organizations. He is a respectable member of Uttara Club Ltd, Army Golf Club and BCI, Dhaka. Khan is a family man and a proud father of two daughters and a son.
