Eastern Bank (EBL) has entered a bancassurance agreement with Akij Takaful Life Insurance to offer Shariah-compliant life insurance solutions to its customers. The agreement was exchanged by M Khorshed Anowar and Mohammad Masuduzzaman Khan, DMD of EBL and Chief Corporate Business Officer of Akij Takaful Life Insurance on Wednesday at EBL’s head office in the capital.
