Monthly meeting of Lions Club held

The regular monthly members’ meeting of the Lions Club of Dhaka Royal Green was held at Navana HR Tower in the city’s Gulshan Link Road on Thursday. The meeting was attended by all esteemed members of the club and featured important discussions regarding the club’s ongoing activities and future plans.
During the meeting, a comprehensive discussion was held on the club’s overall development, current projects, and upcoming social service initiatives. Members proposed several ideas to enhance the club’s operations and reach, and decisions were made based on mutual consensus for effective implementation.
In addition, a serious matter was thoroughly discussed. The Club President, Lion Millat Hossen Milton, recently received a threatening letter from an anonymous source. Members were previously informed about this issue, and the matter has been treated with utmost seriousness by the club. The incident was strongly condemned during the meeting, with all members expressing that such a threat is not just an attack on one individual, but an affront to the integrity and safety of the entire club.
Following the incident, a General Diary (GD) was filed at Rampura Police Station on May 15, 2025. The meeting resolved that necessary legal steps will be taken to ensure the safety of the Club President and all members, with continuous communication maintained with law enforcement authorities.
Lions Club of Dhaka Royal Green has always stood for humanitarian service, social responsibility, and peaceful coexistence. The club remains committed to raising its voice against any form of injustice or threat and will continue to serve society with dedication and integrity.
