Notorious underworld figure Subrata Bain has reportedly been arrested in Kushtia, according to preliminary sources.

However, police have not yet issued an official confirmation regarding the arrest.

An additional superintendent of police in Kushtia told the Daily Sun that efforts are underway to gather information from the relevant unit.

Meanwhile, the acting chief of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch (DB) stated that they are also working to verify the report with Kushtia police.
