NCP taints image through unnecessary feuds: AB Party

Staff Reporter :

Chairman of Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party, Mojibur Rahman Monju, has stated that the newly formed political party, National Consensus Party (NCP), led by student activists, has become involved in unnecessary disputes, damaging its public image and credibility. He called for dialogue and mutual understanding rather than resignation amid growing political uncertainty in the country.

At an emergency press conference held on Friday afternoon at the party’s central office in Bijoynagar, Dhaka, Monju addressed recent developments surrounding the interim government and the ongoing political turmoil.

Monju criticized the government advisors, saying, “No initiative was taken by the advisors to maintain unity among the student groups who led the mass uprising. On the contrary, some advisors’ actions contributed to breaking national unity and political solidarity among parties.”

He emphasized that the AB Party is not in favor of Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus’s resignation. “Given the current volatile political climate, any sudden resignation will only deepen the crisis.
