The singer and producer Twin Shadow on Monday called off a month of shows after a tour bus accident left two people seriously injured. The New York-based musician, known for his style of 1980s-like New Wave pop with touches of R&B, said he was traveling Friday when his bus hit a tractor-trailer in Aurora, Colorado.
All 12 people on the bus were taken to hospitals and two of them — drummer Andy Bauer and driver John Crawford — remain in serious condition, Twin Shadow said in a statement. Twin Shadow — who was born in the Dominican Republic and whose real name is George Lewis Jr — will undergo reconstructive surgery on his hand.
