‘Made in Bangladesh’ Proton X70 SUV launched at Tk38.5 lakh

Rancon Cars Ltd has launched the locally painted and assembled compact crossover sport utility vehicle (SUV) Proton X70, of the Malaysian brand, in Bangladesh at Tk38.5 lakh.

The model was selling at Tk44-48 lakh before local production.

The X70 comes in four colours- Jet Grey, Ruby Red, Cinnamon Brown and Space Grey, with a 5-year or 150,000 km warranty that customers can avail from Rangs workshops in Dhaka and Chattogram.

“All units of the X70 SUVs are now being proudly made in Bangladesh at the Rancon Industrial Park in Gazipur,” Rancon Cars Director Muhammad Mostafizur Rashid Bhuiyan said at the launching event at the Proton Bangladesh Rancon showroom at Tejgaon, in the capital on Wednesday.
