Shafiuzzaman new MD of SIBL

Shafiuzzaman has joined Social Islami Bank PLC (SIBL) as Managing Director on Thursday.
Prior to assuming this role, he served as Additional Managing Director & Chief Credit Officer at Bank Asia PLC, where he played a key role in credit risk management, corporate asset marketing and strategic banking operations.
With an extensive career spanning 31 years in local and multinational banks & financial institutions, Shafiuzzamanbrings a wealth of expertise in branch banking, corporate banking, credit risk management, and special asset management. His 14 years of experience as Head of Branch in Dhaka City and 10 years as a Division Head have enabled him to develop a deep understanding of the banking sector’s evolving landscape.
