196 promoted to joint secretaries

A total of 196 government officials have been promoted to the rank of joint secretary, including 21 deputy commissioners (DCs).

The Ministry of Public Administration announced the decision on Thursday through two separate notifications. One notification lists 194 officials, while the other includes two officials currently posted abroad. All of them were previously serving as deputy secretaries.

If an official’s workstation has already changed, they must submit their joining letter with updated office details.

If any adverse or conflicting information about an official surfaces later, the authorities reserve the right to amend or cancel the promotion order.

Promoted officials can submit their joining letters directly to the senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration or via email ([email protected]).
