Sabur Khan appointed as chairman of GEN Bangladesh

The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Global has officially appointed Md. Sabur Khan as the Chairman of GEN Bangladesh, marking a significant milestone for the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. With this appointment, GEN Bangladesh will now work to position Bangladeshi startups, innovators, and entrepreneurial-minded individuals within the global entrepreneurship network, connecting them with GEN Global’s extensive resources, programs, and collaborations worldwide.
The appointment has been endorsed by Mr. Jonathan Ortmans, President of GEN Global, who recognizes Bangladesh’s increasing role in the global entrepreneurial landscape. Additionally, Mr. Peter Komives of GEN Global will join GEN Bangladesh as the Senior Vice President, working closely with Mr. Khan to develop a strong and globally connected entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bangladesh. Providing Access to GEN Programs – Facilitating participation in GEN Accelerates, GEN Invest, Startup Huddle, EWC, and GEC.
Policy & Research Advocacy – Collaborating with policymakers to foster an entrepreneur-friendly environment.
Mr. Khan, a renowned entrepreneur, Former President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), educationist and Chairman of Daffodil Family and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University, has played a key role in shaping Bangladesh’s entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem. His leadership at GEN Bangladesh signals a new commitment to integrating Bangladesh’s startup ecosystem with global networks.
In his reaction as the President of GEN Bangladesh Md.
