BOU delegation in Nepal to participate “MAGENDA” meeting

BOU delegation A 4 (four) member delegation led by Bangladesh Open University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. A B M Obaidul Islam left Dhaka on Saturday to attend the MAGENDA Project Inaugural Meeting to be held on 16-17 March 2025 at Pokhara University, Nepal.
BOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. A B M Obaidul Islam will also deliver a keynote address titled ‘The Role of Partnership in Encouraging Regional Innovation through Distance Learning’ at the three-day “International Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation-2025” to be held from 19-21 March 2025. The conference will be addressed by the Vice-Chancellor’s traveling companion and invited speakers, among others: Project Director of the MAGENDA Project, Professor Dr. Sabina Yeasmin, Open School , BOU, Deputy Project Director of the MAGENDA Project, Dr. Md. Mizanoor Rahman, Assistant Professor, Open School , BOU and MAGENDA Project Researcher, Director of IQAC, Professor Dr. Md. Serazul Islam, School of Agriculture and Rural Development , BOU.
During the visit, the BOU delegation will meet with the Vice Chancellors of several universities in Nepal and India as well as Europe in a joint meeting. It is hoped that through this international conference, regional cooperation will be further strengthened in the future by undertaking joint education and research initiatives between Bangladesh Open University and Pokhara University.
