Election manifesto of JP-backed mayor nominee announced

Jatiya Party -backed Chittagong mayor candidate Solaiman Alam Seth announced his election manifesto at Chittagong Press Club auditorium yesterday morning highlighting the mitigation of city conservancy problems, waterlogging and terrorism- free city if he voted to mayorship in the upcoming city corporation election .
 Member secretary of the convening committee of JP city unit Tapan Chakraborty read out the manifesto on behalf of the mayor nominee. Solaiman Seth said Chittagong Pourashava was upgraded into City Corporation in 1987 by the JP President Hossain Md. Ershad during his regime.
 He said if he is elected as mayor , the city will turned into global standard mega city with all civic facilities resolving the waterlogging and introduction of sewerage system in th e city. He sought vote in favour of Dish Antenna symbol from the city dwellers. Among others, Tapan Chakraborty, Abdul Mia, Shamsul Alam Dulal, Jahangir Alam, Ali Imran Chowdhury, Sabir Ahmed, Sagir Ahmed Sohel were present on the occasion.
