Ishwardi joint forces seize various cigarettes, biri

In a joint operation by the police and BGB, cigarettes and biri of various brands were seized from the Ishwardi branch of SA. Ishwardi Police Station said on Monday (February 3rd) that the courier and Pabarsel Service SA transport office and warehouse were raided various brands of biri and cigarettes. They cost Tk 14 lakh 80 thousand.
Assistant Director of Kushtia BGB-47 Battalion Zakirul Islam and SI Selim Reza of the police station gave the operation of the joint forces. Ishwardi Customs is the idea of seized biri and cigarette fake. BGB and police have submitted them to the Ishwardi Customs Office.
Assistant Director of the BGB -47 Battalion Zakirul Islam said, “On the basis of secret news, we can find out that a car from Viramara of Kushtia is going to Ishwardi, a car loading biri and derby cigarettes from different brands.” We followed biri and cigarette cars and raided the SA transport branch in Ishwardi and seized the goods. The owner was not found even after the detention of the goods for about 3 hours. They are now kept in customs custody. Later, if the owner can show the right paper, they will be explained to biri and cigarettes. And if the owner is not found, the biri and cigarettes will be destroyed through the legal process.
He also said that biri and cigarette Ishwardi SA were booked from transport to send to Bandarban, Gopalganj, Takerhat district raided the drive. When the owner called the BGB and SA from the Ishwardi branch of the transport, they did not appear and later closed the phone.
Ishwardi Police Station Officer -in -Charge (OC) Shahidul Islam Shahid said biri and cigarettes were seized in a joint operation of BGB and Ishwardi Police Station on the basis of secret news. Biri and cigarettes are now submitted to the customs office in Ishwardi. Legal action will be taken after scrutinizing the owner’s papers.
Officer of Custus Warehouse Mahmudul Hasan understood the detained biri and cigarette, saying that our senior officials will later take action.
