SEU, UniMAP sign strategic letter of intent

Southeast University (SEU), Bangladesh, and University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) on January 14, 2025, to promote academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The signing ceremony was graced by SEU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, and UniMAP Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ts. Dr. ZalimanSauli. Dr. Md. Maruf Hassan, Associate Professor, represented SEU as a delegate at the event.
This strategic partnership aims to strengthen collaboration in joint academic programs and research initiatives. It leverages the expertise and resources of UniMAP’s Centre of Excellence for Advanced Computing (CoEAdvComp) and Faculty of Electronic Engineering & Technology (FKTEN) alongside SEU’s capabilities. Key areas of focus include advanced computing, semiconductor technology, cybersecurity, and data science says a press release.
