Khulna Correspondent :
The social volunteer organisation Swapnojatra organised a free medical camp at the Betbunia Community Clinic premises in Soladana Union, Paikgachha Upazila, Khulna on Friday.
The initiative was part of the new executive committee’s annual work plan, successfully implemented through the collective efforts of all members.
Around 400 people from six villages, including 280 women, 95 men, and 25 children, received medical care during the camp.
The services were provided by a dedicated team of seven, including three specialist doctors: Dr. Shimul Adhikari, a medicine specialist; Dr. Umme Habiba, a gynecology specialist; and Dr. Sanjoy Kumar, another medicine specialist.
The success of the camp was the result of the tireless efforts of the organization’s members and volunteers, who worked hard to bring this initiative to life.
Since its establishment in October 2020, Swapnojatra has been conducting various welfare activities every year, such as distributing food, winter clothes, and medical services to the needy and helpless.
This initiative by Swapnojatra stands as a source of inspiration and a milestone for volunteer-driven efforts aimed at improving the quality of life for underprivileged communities, says a press release.
