Mad dogs bite 50; create panic among people in Kishoreganj

At least fifty persons have been injured in various places in Hossainpur town of Kishoreganj after being bitten by rabid dogs.
According to reliable sources, more than fifty people were bitten and injured from late Thursday night to Friday noon.
Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer (UHFP) of Hossionpur, Dr. Md. Tanvir Hasan Ziko confirmed the dog bite.
While it is confirmed that 14 of the injured have been treated at the Upazila Health Complex.They are Noha(5),Moni(6).
Tanvir(13) Mahin (30),Farid (43),Monjila(35). Rumi(10) Sarala Begum (50),Lutfa(52), karima Khatun (60),Monjue(20), Jesmin (53),Sharmin (22) and Shamim( 42). The injured had received treatment at various pharmacies and returned home.
On Thursday night, people from Madhakhala area of the upazila came to the health complex for treatment after being bitten by dogs.
On Friday morning, worshippers from Dhekia and Dweepeshwar areas of the municipal headquarters also fell victim to dog bites as they left the mosque after performing Fazr prayers.
