BAPEX holds 35th AGM

The 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration & Production Company Ltd. (BAPEX) was held on Thursday at BAPEX Board Room, BAPEX Bhaban (Level-6), 4 Kawran Bazar, Dhaka. The Shareholders and the Members of Board of Directors of the company participated in the meeting presided over by Istiaque Ahmad, Chairman of BAPEX Board and Ex-Secretary, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

The Audit Report and the Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year 2023-2024 of the company was approved by the Shareholders at the meeting. During the financial year the total income and expenditure of the company was Tk. 895.13 crore and Tk. 491.33 crore respectively. Company’s profit after tax was Tk. 273.00 crore. During the year the company has deposited Tk. 365.56 crore as government revenue to the national treasury. In the meeting the honourable Shareholders and the members of the Board of Directors expressed their satisfaction in the overall activities of the company during the period and provided valuable suggestions and guidance on various issues for the better functioning of the company.
