Yonex-Sunrise Int’l Badminton meet begins tomorrow

Yonex-Sunrise Junior, Senior Int’l Badminton tournaments will be held at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium from December 13-21 in the capital.

The junior tournament will begin from Friday (Dec 13) with the participation of three countries. The countries are host Bangladesh, India and Indonesia.

While shuttlers from India, Thailand, Myanmar, Canada, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Japan, Maldives, Ukraine, Italy, Finland, Bulgaria, Uganda, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and England are scheduled to participate in the senior tournament, which will begin from December 17.

The junior and senior tournaments are included five categories. The categories are women’s, men’s singles and doubles as well as mixed doubles.
