Lawsuit filed against Sheikh Hasina, Shamim Osman, 111 others in N’ganj

A lawsuit has been filed in Narayanganj’s Fatullah against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former Narayanganj-4 MP Shamim Osman, among 111 individuals, accusing them of an attempted murder of a young man named Md. Tanvir Rahman (17) during an anti-discrimination student-public movement.
Fatullah Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shariful Islam confirmed the matter on Monday (December 9) evening. He stated that the victim himself came to the police station and filed the case, listing the names of 111 accused individuals.
Apart from Shamim Osman, the lawsuit also names his brother Selim Osman, nephew Azmeri Osman, son Ayon Osman, Metropolitan Awami League Joint Secretary Shah Nizam, Organizing Secretary Zakirul Alam Helal, City Jubo League President Shahadat Hossain Bhuiyan Sajnu, Shamim Osman’s brother-in-law Tanvir Ahmed Titu, and Ehsanul Haque Nipu, along with leaders and activists of the Awami League and its affiliated organizations.
