Fazlul Kader new PKSF MD

Md Fazlul Kader has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).
The PKSF Governing Body appointed him as the 12th Managing Director of PKSF on Tuesday for a three-year term.
Md Fazlul Kader started his career at PKSF on October 1,1990 as a Management Executive. He was promoted to the post of Additional Managing Director of PKSF on August 8, 2021. He has been serving as the Acting Managing Director of PKSF since August 22, 2024, said a press release.
In his 34-year-long career, he played a leading role in strengthening the microfinance sector in Bangladesh by enhancing the institutional capacity of PKSF and helping establish over 200 microfinance institutions across the country.
He played a key role in the formulation of the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) Act, 2006 and was the Chairman of the three-member committee formed to formulate the MRA Regulations in 2010.
