Housewife killed in Fakirhat

A housewife named Dolly Begum (35) was allegedly killed at Lokpur village under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat district. In this connection mother of the deceased housewife registered a murder case with Fakirhat Model PS on Thursday morning (on Nov. 21).
The husband Sohag Shaikh went into hiding since her death, according to a report received here. Dolly Begum was the wife one Sohag Shaikh. He is a bus driver in Rupsa area in Khulna while Dolly Begum was the daughter of one Moktar Mir hails from Signboard area in Bagerhat district.
The husband and wife were living in a rented house at Lokpur mentioned earlier. It is learnt from the police of Fakirhat PS that on Wednesday afternoon husband Sohag told her mother and other nearest relatives over mobile, Dolly took sleeping tablets and her condition is precarious. Being informed of the matter her relatives rushed to rented house at Lokpur and found Dolly dead and lying on a cot.
