Tigers-Windies 1st Test begins today

The first Test match between Bangladesh and West Indies will begin today at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua of West Indies . The first day game between the Tigers and the Caribbeans will start at 8.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Private satellite channel Nagorik Television and private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the match live.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz of Bangladesh will lead his side, while Kraigg Brathwaite of West Indies will lead his team.
The second Test will be held at the Sabina Park in Jamaica from November 30 to December 4. The two-Test match series between Bangladesh and West Indies will be the part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC). But both teams have no chance to play in the final of the ICC WTC.
Before today’s Test match, Bangladesh and West Indies faced each other in 20 Test matches. Of them, Bangladesh posted four victories, while West Indies won 14 Test matches and rest of the two Test matches ended in draws.
