Ex-minister Shajahan physically sick during interrogation

Former shipping minister Shajahan Khan on Monday has been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital from Dhaka Metropolitan Police Detective Branch (DB) office at 3:30pm while he got physically sick at the time of interrogation.

Sub-Inspector of Jatrabari Police Station Mujahid said Shajahan was on remand for five days in a case of Jatrabari police station and was being interrogated at the DB office. He fell ill there.

He said, “We quickly took him to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. There he was given first aid and sent to the medicine ward for ECG and other tests.”
