Prisoner escapes from DMCH

A prisoner, who was receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), escaped from the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
The fled person has been identified as Rezaul Karim, 26, said, Sentu Chandra Das, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of DMCH Police Outpost.
He was admitted to the hospital’s ward No. 701 after he fell ill, the police officer said.
It is learnt that two prison guards were on duty when Rezaul escaped, he added.
