Pak Envoy meets Mirza Fakhrul to discuss bilateral ties, regional cooperation

The Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Syed Ahmed Maroof, held a meeting with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan, Dhaka, on Friday.

The meeting took place between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The meeting discussed regional cooperation and various bilateral issues, including trade and business between the two nations.

BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and BNP Chairperson’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee Member Shama Obaid were also present at the meeting.

Following the discussion, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury stated that the conversation covered a range of bilateral issues, particularly focussing on trade and economic relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
