16 BNP-Jamaat-Shibir activists detained

Chittagong city and district police in a series of drives detained 16 activists of BNP-Jamaat-Shibir from port city and three upazilas of the district on Tuesday night.
Naimul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district said police detained 13 activists in overnight raids from various places of Sitakunda, Banskhali and Satkania Upazilas on Tuesday night to prevent possible acts of sabotage during the country-wide blockade and hartal enforced by BNP-led 20 party alliance.
