Election is only way to power Says fisheries minister

Minister of Fisheries and Livestock and Presidium Member of Awami League Abdur Rahman said, there is only one way to power. That is the election. There is no way to come to power in the dark alley without election. If the people vote in the election then you can come to power. And if you try to rig the election, people will boycott you. As the people have boycotted you in the last three elections, they will boycott you in the future as well.
He said, come to the road of Siratul Mostakim. Otherwise you will have to rot and die in a dark alley. What a Bengali thinks today, India thinks tomorrow.
I would like to say that the development that Sheikh Hasina has shown today, the whole world will be able to think about it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Today she is a world leader across the stage of Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina is one of the three honest Prime Ministers in the world.
The minister said these words while addressing the chief guest at a public meeting organized by the local Awami League in Kamarkhali Bazar after laying the foundation stone of the 12 km regional highway to Jamalpur from Kamarkhali Via Rajbari of Madhukhali Upazila in Faridpur on Saturday.
Md. Abdur Rahman said that the freedom fighters who risked their lives and participated in the great liberation war have no loss.
Everyone should be development oriented. You don’t have to tell me about the development of mosques-temples, graveyards, cremation grounds. I will do this myself. If the intention is honest then there is blessing in the intention. That’s why all my dreams will come true.
The minister also said I will strengthen Sheikh Hasina’s hand with your help and inspiration. If Sheikh Hasina’s hand is strong, I will float my three upazilas in the tide of development. I became a minister because of Sheikh Hasina’s kindness. I want to hold the ideals of Bangabandhu till the last breath of my life.
