BOA celebrates Olympic Day

The Bangladesh Olympic Association on Saturday celebrated the Olympic Day 2024 as part of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) global program to popularize the Olympic movement, said a press release.

The BOA celebrated the “Olympic Day” in the capital and seven other divisions across the country in a befitting manner with the slogan: “Let’s Move”. On the occasion of the Olympic Day, the BOA organised a grand rally in the capital. BOA president General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed formally inaugurated the rally as the chief guest by releasing balloons. The ceremony started with the hoisting of the flag. The BOA president hoisted the national flag while BOA Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza hoisted the flag of the International Olympic Committee.
