Noted social worker Refaz Uddin passes away

Business leader and social worker Dewan Refaz Uddin (67) passed away in Mirzapur, Tangail on Monday at his home due to illness. He lived with his family in Bawar Kumarjani Unionpara of Ward No. 1 of Mirzapur Municipality.
It is known that Dewan Refaz Uddin was the Vice President of Tangail District BCIC Fertilizer Dealer Owners Association and President of Mirzapur Upazila BCIC Fertilizer Dealer Owners Association.
He was involved in various activities related to education and social welfare of the area. He is survived by his wife, one son, two daughters, three brothers and two sisters.
He was buried in the Municipal Central Cemetery of Mirzapur Upazila Sadar after prayers at Mirzapur Sheikh Russell Mini Stadium at eleven o’clock today. His death cast a shadow of mourning in the area.
