BNP forms Chairperson’s advisory committee

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced the formation of the Chairperson’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee, along with a Special Assistant body to the committee.

This move aims to strengthen the party’s relations with various countries and diplomats.

According to a press release signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the Senior Joint-Secretary General of BNP, Tarique Rahman, the Acting Chairman of the party, will head the new committee.

The committee includes BNP Standing Committee members Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury; Vice Chairmen Altaf Hossain Chowdhury, Abdul Awal Mintoo, Netai Roy Chowdhury; Chairperson Advisory Council Member Ismail Zabiullah; International Affairs Secretary Humayun Kabir; Former Ambassador Sirajul Islam; and Kurigram district BNP President Tajvirul Islam.

Additionally, the Special Assistant body to the committee consists of Shyama Obed, Anindya Islam Amit, Barrister Nasir Uddin Asim, Barrister Naushad Zamir, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Advocate Asaduzzaman, Afroza Khan Rita, Advocate Fahima Nasreen Munni, Jeba Khan, Advocate Nipun Roy Chowdhury, Khan Rabiul Islam Robi, Barrister Mir Helal Uddin, Tabith Awal, Engineer Ishraq Hossain, Farzana Sharmin Putul, Israfil Khosru, Barrister Abu Saleh Md Sayem (UK), and Md Iqbal Hossain Babu (Belgium).
